Following ‘an inspiring co-operation’ with the son of Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen, Ebbe, the Danish manufacturer Onecollection has recently re-released this iconic, four-legged stool designed by the couple in 1957.
The smart, Mid-Century modern piece, whose used 1950′s version has been recently sold for more than 34.000 Dkr (around $6000) is upholstered in leather and comes in either walnut or ash version, with or without the backrest.
About the designers:
‘As a married couple from 1937 and with own studio in 1945 they formed a team whose greatest contribution lies in the furniture art. At the Carpentry Guild exhibitions (which he arranged 1943-66) they presented everyday furniture with simple constructions, as well as expensive inlaid and veneered pieces.’
