Studio Chad Wright’s ‘Integral’ desk integrates a wooden writing surface with a long open shelf by sandwiching an anodized sheet of aluminum in between the desk’s mitered top and legs.
“Inspired by mathematical graphs, the minimal uncluttered design consists of only essential components while offering a storage solution for paperwork and desk utensils.” says Studio Chad Wright. “Whether designing furniture or objects or creating conceptual installations, the studio’s goal is to synthesize ideas with objects, poetics with relevance, and product with person.”
Other recent work by Chad Wright is the Twig chair and Attic, a series of skyscraper birdhouses produced under his own label. Wright recently exhibited in Milan at SaloneSatellite 2013, where he introduced Integral.
