Designed to host two people in an open space, second-year Reims School of Art and Design Masters student Mariana Stefanet’s ‘Garmoshka’ is elegant and minimalist micro-architecture.

“Garmoshka is built with construction materials, such as copper and steel tubes, which originally serve other purposes and have been diverted for this particular project.” says Stefanet. “The materials and the particular way they were assembled make the structure more stable and generate a color gradient. The spinnaker cover gives it a ‘leger air d’élégance’ and implies that the structure is extremely easy to use and transport.”
