Design Hotels are booming. They promise a certain modern aestehtic and level of luxury to design-savvy travellers.

Long before the brand of the “Design Hotel” existed, Gio Ponti designed and furnished the Parco dei Principi Hotel in Sorrento in 1962.

Situated on a dramatic cliff, the hotel still preserves the designer’s original work intact. The property is amidst majestic gardens, with evocative scenes of classical architecture within the rare specimens of beautiful trees. The guestrooms still preserve their original Gio Ponti design and layout.
