'FOLDED' by Raw Edges for Mutina
At this year’s CERSAIE in Bologna the Italian manfacturer Mutina presented this new series of bathroom tiles by the Isreal design duo Raw Edges. The designer’s idea was to reproduce the effect of folded paper on ceramics – the visual reference is the traditional ceramic patterns which were common in the apartments in Tel Aviv in the Fifties and Sixties. Raw Edges recreate them simply by using “folded” lines.

‘FOLDED’ is made from unglazed homogeneous porcelain stoneware and comes in 60×60 cm rectified slabs.
