The Spanish manufacturer Vibia recently presented ‘Break’ a reduced and very architectural appearing outdoor lamp.

The designers, Xuclà & Alemany created large vertical, sculptural block that supports the lamp and the head that appears to separate, leaving open a small slit through which the beam of light emerges.

The massive concrete lamp comes in different sizes and finishes that allow it to fit into different environments: from the most industrial and urban concrete finish and the rustic rusted finish to modern lacquered finishes in white or silver. The available sizes are the 12-cm wall lamp, the 43-cm version is designed for smaller spaces and the the tallest with 81 cm height. The light passes through a methacrylate diffuser capable of enduring tough outdoor conditions.
