Common copper pipe and elbow fittings wind their way up and down puzzle-like in an installation by Swedish design collective Front for Axor, the premium brand of international mixers and showers maker Hansgrohe. Called Waterdream, the room sized installation culminates in three fully functioning copper shower heads.

Front were given carte blanche to develop the system by Philippe Grohe, the creative mind behind Hansgrohe for the last 20 years. The brief was simple: research the relationship and potential of water in the field of architecture and design.

Both Front and Philippe Grohe will be presenting new production-ready products, currently in development, at the Cersaie 2013 bathroom furnishings exhibition in Bologna, Italy this fall.
