Tamara Petrovic and Garner Oh, the duo behind the New York-based architectural and design practice 0 to 1 have designed this angular ‘work / live’ Artist Retreat located in the southern Finnish town of Fiskars.

Here’s what the creators of this curious structure say about its design:
‘The form was born from ideas of climate, culture, and function of the Artist. The sectional shape is a quarter of an octagon. The section increases in size, with a loft above the utility cube at the higher end, and an outdoor terrace at the lower end.’
