Sake bottle by Kouta Fukunaga

The Japanese designer and craftsman Kouta Fukunaga is one of several artisans from Hokkaido who find inspiration in the natural environment of the northern Japanese island.

His delicate sake bottles, wine coolers and carved vessels are made of birch tree trunks – the undemanding trees are typical for the homeland of the designer.
