While the big money might traipse the halls of Art Basel each year, those who like to stay ahead of the game head for the Swiss city’s Liste art fair, which, running concurrently with its higher-profile counterpart, showcases the work of some of the best young artists around.
Architonic asked young, Zurich-based art historian and curator Larkin Erdmann (accompanied by camera man Timothy Standring) to report from the latest edition of Liste (now in its 16th year), inviting him to make a personal selection of the most compelling work on show. The resulting film features three galleries, whose exhibits all form a physical or conceptual dialogue in some way or other with architecture or design. Well, we are Architonic after all.
