Lievore Altherr Molina’s ‘Agora’ armchair has won a Best Product award at NeoCon in the Sofas & Lounge category, one of four awards won by Spanish furniture brand Andreu World at the 2013 edition of the Chicago-based architecture and design exposition. Innovative design as well as the higher level of comfort were some of the features highlighted by the Best of NeoCon® jury.
The Agora collection is a fully upholstered lounge chair that features solid wood and aluminum bases. “The serene gesture that embraces us, inviting us to relax, the comfortable ergonomics and elegant presence are all elements that distinguish this reading chair.” says Andreu World. “It is therefore ideal for relaxing, reading, listening to music, and thinking. Agora invites you to share space and facilitate form in relationships with others, while getting us to stay focused on what concerns us.”
Agora meets the most demanding tests of endurance, ISO level 5 and ANSI BIFMA, and is made of recyclable materials following a manufacturing process that respects the environment and sustainability. The wood used comes from reforested forests that meet the FSC certification (Forest Stewardship Council).
