THE GEOMETRY IN GAN

Geometry is a central element in GAN designs and spaces. Collections such as RAW by Made Architecture combine wool and jute to achieve a matrixed overlay. HEXA by Aranda Aloy-Enblanc is a hexagonal rug subdivided into colourful lines and forms, all subject to an overarching pattern. MIX&MATCH by Flaviadelpra is a unique collection with matching tile designs full of color. And finally, PARQUET by Front follows the logic of geometry to its very limits, drawing inspiration from traditional flooring patterns. GAN designs help us interpret and discover the universal language that is geometry. (more…)

Alboran by Hugo Tejada

Alboran follows the line of minimalism that defines the style of the designer, another concept of pure lines where the effect of light prevails over form. Once again, Hugo Tejada uses natural elements as a source of inspiration. On this occasion the movement of the sea and the reflections created by the projection of light serve as an inspiring element to create the lamp Alboran. The light effect is the key element, the composition at different heights of its metallic screens allows light to flow between them creating a degradation of intensities with great subtlety and elegance, a warm and friendly object that will not go unnoticed. The underground level has technical rooms, staff rooms and parking for 40 cars – in fact, it’s a small museum for the owner’s antique car collection. The ground floor has a huge open space with living and dining rooms, a home office, a home theater and the kitchen. Large sliding doors make it possible to hide or completely open the home theater and the kitchen to the living room. A separate building houses a space for entertainment and parties. The second floor has four en-suite bedrooms. (more…)
