‘Oxymoron’ desk by Anna Lotova

It was while working on her thesis project that architect Anna Lotova began searching for the light-hearted, hidden humor in every material and medium, says she “I was trying to give space to the natural behavior of materials, while looking for contrasts in shape, color and material.” The result, ‘Oxymoron’, is a desk composed of two alcantara-covered layers of foam placed between plywood sheets forming a “toolbox” to store documents, objects and technical devices.
