Icons of the design landscape, global brand Kartell’s products – with their innovative use of plastic and their clever and expressive, often emotional, forms – have captured the imagination of design-conscious consumers around the world. The Italian manufacturer has now set its sights on expanding its contract business, with among other moves, a dedicated new team, a post-sales follow-up service, and a new flagship-store layout concept. Tokyo-based Nendo has designed several shop interiors for Theory, the New York-based fashion brand known for basics that fuse functionality with casual trends.
