The 7th edition of neue räume, the international interior design exhibition in Zurich, featured several special exhibitions including ‘Light’, a chronology of light and lighting design, and ‘Craftsmanship’ that gave visitors a chance to watch six masters of their craft at work. ‘Swiss Made’ showcased the latest products and bestsellers by the ‘CH-Group’, including Röthlisberger, Lehni and Thut and ‘A Sky full of Shooting Stars’ assembled the latest products by atelier oï, the internationally renowned trio from La Neuveville, Switzerland, in a sensual and inviting setting. Architonic was at the 7th edition of neue räume, the international interior design exhibition in Zurich last week as both an attendee and exhibitor. To demonstrate cork building materials made by Amorim Isolamento, Pedro de Azambuja Varela, Maria João de Oliveira and Emmanuel Novo created a vaulted cork pavilion for Concreta 2013 (a biennial building fair held at Exponor, Porto) while studying in the Digital Architecture Advanced Studies Course at CEAAD.
