Many new LED producers also make the creative possibilities of working with such a fast-changing technology exciting, thanks to the proliferation of products they bring to the market. ‘Cowrie Rocker’ by Brodie Neill for Made in Ratio
New London-based design brand Made in Ratio will debut itself and an innovative furniture and lighting collection at Salone del Mobile 2013 in Milan. “Underpinned by the ideas of movement and modularity, the individual pieces will each have multiple applications.” says creative director Brodie Neill. The Cowrie Rocker (above) and Cowrie Chair, take their shape from a single piece of plywood curved to a monocoque form.
