
‘Marionet’ table by Simon Busse for MOX
Stuttgart-based designer Simon Busse has developed this ingeniously constructed side table for the Swiss furniture brand MOX. Assembled from three solid oak legs and a powder-coated steel top, the aptly-named ‘Marionet’ is held together by a contrasting, bright-red elastic cord which also forms a small handle enabling the design to be lifted and shifted easily. Featuring a distinctive brogue detailing with a serrated edge, this elegant three-legged table was designed by a Welsh-born Bethan Gray. The piece is composed of a solid wood base, which is available in either oak or walnut, and a circular, top-grain leather tabletop in tan or white. Produced by a recently-launched G&T brand – a collaborative project between Gray and furniture developer Thomas Turner – ‘Brogue’ comes in variety of sizes and heights. (more…)
