‘Lolo’ by Maison Martin Margiela for Cerruti Baleri

The Belgian fashion house Maison Martin Margiela strikes yet again and ventures back into the world of furniture design with this simple, asymmetric bookcase-cum-closet called ‘Lolo’. Manufactured by the Italian brand Cerruti Baleri, the self-assembly unit is made of solid exotic wood and birch plywood panels and it is available in two finishes: black and light grey. (more…)

Berlin-based architectural practice Staab Architekten have converted an old hotel into a new museum dedicated to the history of the Bavarian Kings. Located in the German village of Hohenschwangau and overlooking the picturesque Alpsee lake, the development features a striking, glass-clad roof which has been added to the former dining room of the hotel.
